Winter Storm Watch Begins Late Wednesday Night
Wednesday night, the low will be around 33 with an 80 percent chance of rain, mainly after midnight, according to the weather service.
Valley rain and mountain snow is expected in much of the West. Heavy snow and mixed precipitation is possible Friday night and Saturday, with accumulations of six to 12 inches, along with ice. Snowfall of 4 to 7 inches and ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch are possible.
