Brad Pitt Bid $120000 to Watch 'Game of Thrones' With Emilia Clarke

09 January 2018, 02:00 | Annette Crawford

Meanwhile, Emilia outbid Leonardo DiCaprio - who was honoured at the gala for his work combating climate change - for a painting by Josh Smith, paying $90,000 to trump his $80,000 offering for the artwork.

Variety reports that the "War Machine" actor was at an annual silent auction in Los Angeles hosted by Sean Penn.

Brad Pitt must be a very big Game of Thrones fanboy, or more specifically the Mother of Dragons.

During the charity gala, the auctioneer announced the opportunity to watch an episode with Clarke, who was in attendance at the A-list event, along with her "Game of Thrones" co-star Kit Harington, though the cast members were seated at separate tables.

The bidding started at U.S. $20,000 but quickly rose and hit the $120,000 mark when Harington said he would also sit in on the episode with the victor.

"He offered $80,000 in the auction to watch Game of Thrones with Emilia", the source continued.

However, the exciting lot was won by another attendee at the gala, who paid $160,000 for the screening. Leo [DiCaprio] enthusiastically watched the whole auction, turning his head back and forth between Brad and Emilia. He laughed hysterically when he gave up and they called him out for it.

Anna Kendrick of Pitch Perfect 3 is enthusiastic whenever the award-winning television series is on.

"He did everything he could to pirate episodes that hadn't even been shot yet", Lively revealed in a previous interview. "Now we're through it because there's a new season coming out".
