Prince Harry Interviews Barack Obama In New Kensington Palace Video

Prince Harry tells Barack Obama he'll give him 'the face' while interviewing him

Prince Harry to interview surprise guest on Radio 4's Today programme – find out who!

Footage of their pre-interview chat was released by the BBC today ahead of the full December 27 broadcast on Radio 4's Today Programme.

The pair's longtime bromance was on full display as Harry interviewed the former United States president, trading quips in a teaser released on Monday morning (AEST).

Apparently the two men got together for this special interview during September's Invictus Games in Toronto-you know, when we got those first incredible pics of now-engaged Prince Harry and Meghan Markle holding hands.

Prince Harry later confessed: "You're excited about this and I'm nervous about it, that's what's quite amusing", to which Mr Obama replied: "I will interview you if you want".

"Do I need a British accent?"

Prince Harry told President Obama that if he waited too long to speak, he would "get the face" indicating that Prince Harry would give him a stern expression, letting him know there was too much dead air. Obama asked. "Because I'm a slow speaker".

The palace said the full interview will be made available as a podcast.

When Harry showed him what he meant, Obama said: "I don't want to see that face".

Harry and Mr Obama have become big friends, forging a strong bond during the Prince's trips to America and work with servicemen.

"No, no. Let's keep it this way".

Kensington Palace says that the conversation will deal with Obama's memories of his time in office as well as his plans for post-presidential life.

They bonded during this year's Invictus Games, where they watched a bunch of events together and just bro'd on down.
