Facebook has finally added the feature we've all been waiting for
Facebook already allows you to unfollow someone while staying friends, if their posts are starting to clog up your feed.
Facebook on Friday launched Snooze , a way to temporarily unfollow a person, page or group for 30 days.
In a post on the Facebook Newsroom blog the company wrote: "We've heard from people that they want more options to determine what they see in News Feed and when they see it".
The people, pages and groups you hit the snooze button on won't know, and Facebook will notify you when you snooze is about to expire. You will receive a notification when a Snooze cycle comes to an end though, and it can be reversed at any time if you change your mind. In that case, the social media site has a new feature, just for you, called "Snooze". If you don't have the option yet, it should appear in the next few weeks as the feature rolls out. With it, you can easily mute one or some of your friends' posts who keep on publishing irritating cat videos.
