Harrison Ford Plays Real-Life Hero After Woman Crashes Car Off Highway

Harrison Ford Still Playing Hero ... Helps Woman Who Drove Off Highway

As TMZ report, Ford was driving behind the woman, when she sped off an embankment.

Photos of Ford talking to first responders at the scene began surfacing online.

A Santa Paula fire department (SPFD) official confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the 74-year-old actor was among several drivers who stopped to help on Sunday.

"He acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else, and tried to help before emergency services arrived", he said.

The woman was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The California Highway Patrol, the lead agency for the incident, is investigating the cause, Alonzo said.

The actor - who is known for his courageous, heroic roles in movies like Star Wars and Indiana Jones - did not hesitate to rush to the woman's side.

The actor was involved in a close call at John Wayne Airport in February when he he mistakenly landed on a taxiway as an American Airlines jet was preparing for takeoff, the Los Angeles Times reported. Ford and others managed to get the unidentified driver out of the vehicle. It also had to be quite the shocking experience for the driver; you were just in a auto accident and your adrenaline is probably through the roof, and then you see Harrison Ford has come to your rescue.
